About offline mode(download songs): Spotify songs are encrypted at source and the decryption key is tied to your account details,so this will never be hacked within the apk. BTW, who still download music these days?
About Audio quality:
Audio quality is tied to your account, when you log into spotify servers – and select a song, the files are downloaded in usually around 3 different parts – depending on how long you’ve listened to the song – ie you don’t download the full in 1 go as 1 file. Each part of the song is encrypted and the decryption key is tied to your account/timestamp. Songs stored on the servers are encoded in different bitrates – so when you log into the server with a free account – you can only download at the max bitrate for your account (so about 128kbps) usually. If you have a premium account – this apk will download the extreme bitrate if you have that selected in your settings. I won’t go into it anymore than that – so if you want extreme audio and have a sound system where you will notice the difference, then you need a premium account, just make up a free 7 day account for that. You can spoof the mac on your device and use a fake email for that if you already had an account in the past.
